Success Coaches

Success Coaches - As part of the Mental Health Capacity Building in Schools Initiative, McMan Success Coaches implement integrated, school-based community mental health promotion, prevention and early intervention programs. With funding through Alberta Health and collaboration with Alberta Education, the projects are available throughout various schools in Medicine Hat School District #76 and Prairie Rose School Division #8. Success Coaches engage the students through healthy relationship presentations, activities to promote positive school culture, and activities to support transition from elementary school through to high school. Programming also consists of classroom presentations, lunch education sessions, afterschool programming, and summer activities.
