FASD Lifespan Rural Supports and Education

FASD Rural Supports and Education Program provides services to caregivers of individuals suspected of having or diagnosed with FASD. Services can include information and education about FASD, strategies and interventions and advocacy within the community; presentations to school personnel and community agencies are also available upon request. The Support Worker can provide assistance with daily living supports based on assessed needs of the individual aged 17 and over who are diagnosed or suspected of having FASD in the areas of: advocacy, system navigation, finding and maintaining housing, arranging appointments and accessing financial supports.
